About your team
The Finance Systems & Change team support Finance and Procurement in achieving its vision and objectives by acting as the catalyst for change, leading and supporting change initiatives and ensuring that Finance are supported by systems that are efficient, cost effective, flexible and meet their needs.
About your role
FIL has implemented Core Finance Platform (CFP) based upon Oracle Financials and Procurement Cloud ERP (Fusion / R13) - replacing legacy JD Edwards general ledger and Oracle Web Centre based procurement systems. Due to this large Programme most Finance and Procurement processes and systems are under transformation.
The purpose of this role is to:
- Build an understanding of the current Finance Processes and Existing Technology landscape.
- Support the existing legacy processes and systems so that status quo is maintained.
- Build an understanding of the CFP solution and associated systems to provide support and on-going continuous improvement.
- Perform administration of the ARCS Account Attestation system
- Finance Master Data Change Management Process along with accessing impact of related objects like CVR and Allocation Rules
- Maintenance of CFP to Legacy Chart of Account Segment mappings
Key Responsibilities
Work as a change catalyst between Process owners and technology for transformations. Support finance processes like MDM (Chart of Accounts maintenance), ARCS Reconciliation, Allocations Rules and CVRs around Period Close Business Analysis, Requirements documentation, Requirement Refinement and Possible Solutions for finance processes planned for transformation. Manage prioritisation and budgeting of small-scale enhancements. Provide over all governance on the same working closely with technology which is responsible for all technical deliveries.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required
Experience of working in any Oracle ERP preferably Finance module (Oracle Cloud experience preferred, but experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite eBS -R12 acceptable)., knowledge of chart of accounts (CoAs). EPM systems and multi-dimensional reporting. Business Analysis and requirements writing for business process owner to be used by tech partners Finance background required, familiar with financial and management accounting (MA) concepts. Proven analytical skills, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail. Good Microsoft office skills – PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word Experience of data presentational tools such as PowerBI Strong presentation skills, both written & verbal Accounting or Management qualification highly desirable
