We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Accounts and Finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be a CA Finalist (Big 4 preferred) with at least 6 months of post-articles experience in a treasury role. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and SECP regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and managing the finance team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Maintain books of accounts in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audit and compliance purposes.
Treasury Management
- Handle payments, investments, and liquidity management.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal utilization of funds.
- Manage banking relationships and ensure timely resolution of payment-related issues.
Tax Compliance
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and timely submission of tax returns.
- Liaise with tax consultants and auditors as needed.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to SECP regulations and filing requirements.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and recommend necessary adjustments to processes.
Team Management
- Supervise and manage a team of 3 to 5 subordinates in the accounts and finance department.
- Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
CFO Support
- Report directly to the CFO and provide insights and recommendations on financial matters.
- Assist the CFO in developing financial strategies and decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: CA Finalist (Big 4 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of post-articles experience, preferably in a treasury role.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and SECP regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Soft Skills
