Overview

As an Accountant at Vartana you will report to the controller and play a vital role in ensuring our internal and external financial reporting is accurate. You'll collaborate across departments, providing insightful analysis and financial insights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable & receivable, and fixed assets.
• Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring smooth reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
• Analyze financial data and generate reports to support management decision-making.
• Assist with internal control procedures to safeguard financial data and mitigate risk.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and US GAAP standards.
• Support the Controller with special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Active US CPA license required.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting US based firm or a fast-growth US based company (both is preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and spreadsheets (Excel).
• Detail oriented with a high sense of urgencyExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team.
