Trains contract catchers and employees, enforces GMP and company policies, coordinates timely bird delivery, minimizes downtime and losses, and ensures compliance with USDA, welfare, and safety standards.

- Assist Live Haul Manager in day-to-day management of operations.
- Train employees, ensuring Animal Welfare Policies are enforced.
- Assist in supervising live haul drivers, ensuring safe driving practices.
- Ensure team members and drivers adhere to company safety policies and practices.
- Monitor PM Program.
- Assist in training drivers, monitoring driver hours, and ensuring DOT compliance.
- Monitor and administer Drive-Cam System.
- Respond to farm catching and hauling issues and accidents.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor Degree in Animal or Poultry Science or other related area of study preferred.
- Excellent technology, computer, math and analytical skills.
- 3+ years supervisory experience required.
- Current CDL, or ability to obtain license within 1 year required.
Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience with DOT regulations and transportation
- Two or more years of management experience
- CDL license
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to create Excel spreadsheets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- English proficiency
- Reliability, responsibility, dependability, and ability to fulfill obligations
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Professional conduct in high-stress situations
- Spanish proficiency
