Purpose of Position
- CASETiFY is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our finance team. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager. As the ideal candidate, you will hit the ground running, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be detail-oriented. You will be responsible for collecting financial data from various business units and/or subsidiaries, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the information.
Job Description
- Support the Finance Manager in validating the consolidated adjustments and performing group consolidation
- Support the Finance Manager in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing consolidated financial performance, key trends, and insights. Perform variance analysis for all company entities
- Keep track of the latest IFRS reporting requirements
- Prepare and verify the reasonableness of the financial results
- Liaise and coordinate with local teams on financial matters
- Assist the team with external audits, bank requests, and prepare supporting schedules
- Support ad-hoc projects and analysis requests from management
- Support the Finance Manager in validating the consolidated adjustments and performing group consolidation
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
- Recognized professional accounting qualifications are preferred
- 6+ years of relevant work experience - as the ideal candidate, you have at least 2 years with the Big 4 and 1 year in a commercial setting
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for an Accountant role
- Experience in e-commerce and global accounting is a plus
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Proficiency in NetSuite is advantageous
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Mature, independent, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
