About this opportunity:
Ericsson is looking for a motivated and technically driven Associate Engineer - DS1 & TA1 to join our growing Service Delivery team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless Operations & Maintenance (O&M) across core and cloud network systems, while actively contributing to incident management, automation initiatives, and AI-driven operational enhancements.

This role operates on a 24x7 rotational shift basis.
What you will do:
- Deliver end-to-end O&M support, ensuring consistent availability and optimal performance of core and cloud network systems.
- Take ownership of incident and emergency handling, driving timely resolution and thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical network events.
- Support project execution activities including new node acceptance testing and technology rollouts, ensuring smooth integration into the live network.
- Champion automation and AI-driven initiatives focused on predictive maintenance, proactive fault detection, and overall operational efficiency.
- Monitor and review TT, CR, and AT performance metrics, ensuring full adherence to MSTOP operational guidelines.
- Manage MIR releases and user access controls in alignment with Ericsson's operational standards and security policies.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, hardware partners, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Engage with regional and global support teams for escalation management and continuous knowledge sharing.
The skills you bring:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Telecommunications, IT, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline.
Experience
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Telecom O&M, Service Delivery, or Customer Support.
- Prior exposure to the Ericsson Charging System is a preferred advantage.
- Experience with AI/ML-driven operations or automation frameworks will be considered a strong plus.
- Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes and frameworks.
Technical Competence
- Solid understanding of Intelligent Networks (IN), CAMEL, and INAP protocols.
- Knowledge of Voice Call & Signaling Routing, Network Architecture, and Telecom Protocols.
- Capability to perform end-to-end performance audits and network optimization.
- Working knowledge of IP Networking and Network Security concepts.
- Exposure to AI-based monitoring tools and data analytics platforms.
Certifications (Preferred)
- ITIL, Oracle, CCNA, or Red Hat certifications are highly valued.
- Certifications in Cloud, Automation, or AI/ML technologies will be considered an added advantage.
Skills Required
