Assistant ‐ Embellishment - Development

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to continuously look for ways to reduce machine requirement for layouts and ensure machines are available for production, prepare layout, Yamazumi.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive embellishment requirements from merchandising and production teams.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of trims, materials, and artwork approvals.
- Track orders from sample development to bulk production.
- Ensure all embellishment processes meet technical specifications and customer standards.
- Maintain accurate records of sample approvals, orders, and production statuses.
- Update ERP/PLM systems with embellishment details, approvals, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with QA to review sample and bulk output for defects.
- Assist in corrective actions when deviations from standards are detected.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timelines, quality requirements, and capacity commitments are met.
- Escalate any delays or quality concerns to the Executive – Embellishment.
- Support the embellishment team in capacity planning, workflow scheduling, and administrative tasks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree or Diploma in Textile or Apparel Technology.
- 1–2 years of experience in garment embellishment, merchandising, or related fields.
