Position Purpose:
The Assistant Education Officer will be primarily responsible for assisting the Education Officer in the field-level implementation of Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Kindergarten (KG) primary education within Learning Centers (LCs), alongside the Myanmar Curriculum in targeted areas of Ukhiya and Teknaf. The position holder will aid in ensuring the effective delivery of these education services across Learning Centers and other community-based education platforms.
Job Responsibility:
- Assist the Education Officer to conduct capacity-building training and strengthen the capacity of teaching volunteers for ECE and KG primary (LC) programs in both camp and host communities.
- Support the facilitation of need assessments, problem identification, service mapping, and situation analysis for primary and early childhood education.
- Help track and analyze regular project progress and detail implementation plans for all LC activities.
- Ensure close coordination among the sector and assistants for quality programming.
- Track and analyse regular project progress, detail the implementation plan, and consult with the relevant sector/project manager for financial tracking.
- Ensure close coordination among functional departments and sectors for strategic guidance and planning.
- Ensure field-level coordination with key stakeholders, Camp in Charge, School authorities, sector representatives, primary education department, site management, School Management Committee, and Camp coordination.
- Preparing daily, weekly, half-yearly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to respective authorities, partners, and sectors.
- Assign program monitoring through proper monitoring tools.
- Assist in strengthening relationships with UEO, CIC, UNO, CESG, local leaders, Majhee, Block committee, CESG, and key stakeholders of the Rohingya and host community.
- Support advocacy efforts on ECE, primary education system strengthening, positive parenting, and capacity building in forums and meetings.
- The Stakeholders assisted with different programs according to the project design.

- Aid in the facilitated capacity building of host and Rohingya community teaching volunteers by supporting coaching, training, workshops, and orientation for ECE and KG methodologies.
- Supervising and monitoring the host community and Rohingya teachers in program implementation services within the Learning Centers.
- Ensure quality reports regarding ECE and KG primary implementations are developed and submitted on time.
- Preparation of case studies and success stories on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Ensure all reports and records are properly documented.

Knowledge, Skill & Experience:
Required Education, training, license, registration, and/or Certification:
- Bachelor/Honors.
- The applicants should hold a university degree in Social Science, Education, or relevant subjects.
- A BE’d degree is preferable.
- Proficient English communication skills (both oral and written) ·
- Advanced knowledge of CPMS, Red Cross, and NGO Code of Conduct·
- Strong interpersonal relationships and team-building background·
- Excellent analytical, documentation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and negotiation skills·
- Possess the ability to work with different partners, Govt officials, local authorities, sectors, local organizations, and NGOs to develop and maintain positive collaboration and relationships.
- Must be ready to work in a multi-cultural environment·
- Familiar with ECE, LC, Myanmar curriculum, peacebuilding, community engagement, and adolescent engagement ·
- Appropriate communication skills and approachable·
- Must have no history of violation of children's rights·

- Fluent in the Rohingya Dialect
Required Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Education, Social work, and emergency response
- Working with computer data and data management
- Past exposure to working in education and management

- Experience working at the Rohingya Crisis Response
