Green Hills Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team! This role is responsible for the twenty-four-hour nursing care of all residents through the performance of the nursing personnel.
YOU ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL…
- Develop, organize, and operate the nursing services and supportive services for the Health Care Center.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, residents, resident family members, and employees.
- Maintain a schedule of daily rounds and assignments of duties for all nursing staff to assure 24-hour coverage sufficient to meet federal and state regulatory requirements and community standards of care.
- Interview and hire new nursing personnel for all levels of care.
- Oversee the completion of new hire and annual performance evaluations.
- Observe and assist in direct resident care. Assist in covering shifts, per the community need. Not limited to working as a CNA or Charge Nurse.
- Have a degree from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience, or Associate's degree of Nursing.
- Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Have geriatric nursing experience.
- Have one year of management experience supervising others.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
