EHM Senior Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the leadership and daily operations of our Nursing department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing with overseeing daily nursing operations, resident care, and departmental programs.

  • Support the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of nursing staff.

  • Monitor infection control and antibiotic stewardship programs to promote resident safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Conduct clinical rounds and audits to ensure quality care and adherence to facility policies and procedures.

  • Monitor resident rehospitalizations and support staff education and interventions to reduce avoidable hospital transfers.

  • Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives, resident care planning, and wound care oversight.

  • Prepare for state surveys, inspections, and audits while supporting compliance with skilled nursing regulations.

  • Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and resolve concerns.

  • Support ongoing staff education, policy implementation, and clinical performance improvement.

  • Assume nursing department leadership responsibilities in the Director of Nursing’s absence.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM 

  • On call: rotating evening and weekend on-call coverage responsibility
Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.

Required Experience:

  • Active RN license in the State of Michigan in good standing
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a skilled nursing facility in a management role

    • Strong organizational, communication & conflict resolution skills
    • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
       

Skills Required

  • Active RN license in the State of Michigan in good standing
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a skilled nursing facility in a management role
