Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director of Finance, you will serve as the right hand to our Director of Finance and a key guardian of the hotel's financial health during a major period of transformation and property refurbishment. You will step into a collaborative, high-performing environment where your insights directly impact our day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.
Your core responsibilities and frequent tasks will include:
  • Financial Oversight & Reporting: Managing the daily operations of the accounting department (including AP, AR, income audit).
  • Month-End & Year-End Closing: Leading the preparation of accurate financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reports in compliance with luxury hospitality standards and local Czech statutory practices.
  • Internal Controls: Maintaining, auditing, and adapting a strict system of internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure compliance with corporate group policies.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Partnering with the Director of Finance to compile annual budgets, monthly forecasts, capital expenditure (CapEx) tracking, and cash flow analyses.
  • Team Leadership: Mentoring, guiding, and supervising the finance team, ensuring smooth workflows and fostering professional growth.



Job Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in an accounting management position and at least 2 years in a similar role, ideally within a hotel environment or a complex hospitality setting
  • Financial expertise in reporting, forecasting and budgeting
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Word, any respective accounting software knowledge is a plus, as well as knowledge of the generally accepted accounting principles, PCI DSS and local regulations
  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken), Czech language is not mandatory

Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years experience in an accounting management position
  • At least 2 years in a similar role
