We are looking for an Assistant Demand Planner to play a key role in supporting accurate demand planning and fulfilment across our Active Skin & Haircare categories, helping to optimise sales performance and inventory availability.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide essential support to the Demand Planner and Demand Planning Manager, helping to maintain the accuracy and integrity of demand signals across a diverse portfolio of Skincare & Haircare brands. You’ll work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams—Buying, Merchandising, Retail, Online and Supply Chain - to ensure product availability, improve forecast accuracy, and strengthen overall business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of demand plans across all channels, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates in SAP.
  • Monitoring forecast accuracy, SKU fulfilment, safety stock levels and replenishment parameters to optimise stock flow.
  • Assisting with promotional and launch forecasting, new product introductions, discontinuations and seasonal stock allocations.
  • Running and analysing reports related to availability, forecast accuracy, fulfilment rates and master data quality, helping to identify root causes and drive improvements.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers, completing key administrative tasks such as stock transfers, manual overrides, RTV processing and issue resolution.

Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

Please see our Hybrid@Harrods policy on our Career Site for more information or speak to a member of our Talent Acquisition team if you have any questions regarding the requirements for this role.

About You

You will be a highly organised, detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with multiple teams. You bring strong analytical thinking, confidence with data, and a proactive mindset that enables you to solve problems quickly and effectively. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, communicating clearly with stakeholders across the business, and contributing to continuous improvement within the demand planning function. Above all, you take pride in delivering accuracy, supporting the wider trading teams, and helping to drive strong commercial performance.

You will bring:

  • A passion for the Active Skin & Haircare industry.
  • Strong numeracy, analytical capability and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in Demand Planning, Allocation, Merchandising or a similar field is essential.
  • Confidence using systems and spreadsheets, with SAP experience being highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective cross‑functional relationships.
