The Assistant Controller is responsible for the accounting close and partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders—including tax, legal, IT, operations, and finance systems—to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable and standardized accounting processes across the subsidiaries that support the Company’s continued growth, geographic expansion, and M&A activity.

Position Responsibilities
Global Accounting Leadership
• Own and lead all core accounting functions for a global SaaS organization, including tax, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, treasury operations, general ledger accounting, technical accounting, statutory accounting, and financial reporting.
• Lead and develop a large, globally distributed accounting organization across multiple locations in the United States and internationally, including offshore teams, with responsibility for driving accountability, quality, and consistency across time zones.
Close, Consolidation & Reporting at Scale
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and global consolidation processes in a fast paced, high growth environment.
• Drive continuous improvement in close efficiency, accuracy, and predictability through process optimization and automation.
• Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules, and ensure timely statutory reporting across jurisdictions.
Automation, Process Improvement & Systems
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to eliminate manual processes, improve data quality, and increase automation across accounting workflows.
• Partner closely with IT, Finance Systems, and cross functional stakeholders to design and implement scalable, technology enabled solutions.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP enhancements, new system implementations, and process standardization across regions.
• Leverage automation and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve close efficiency, enhance data quality, and scale finance and accounting operations sustainably
Accounting, Controls & Compliance
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls that scale with the business and support audit readiness.
• Lead annual financial statement audits and manage relationships with external auditors and advisors.
Cash, Tax & Treasury Operations
• Oversee global cash management, liquidity planning, and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Lead global tax compliance and reporting activities in partnership with internal and external advisors. • Support debt accounting, covenant compliance, and lender reporting as the Company’s capital structure evolves.
Cross Functional & Global Collaboration
• Work cross functionally with teams across sales operations, product, legal, tax, IT, and operations to support new initiatives and ensure accounting considerations are addressed early.
• Effectively lead and collaborate with teams located in different countries and regions, balancing global consistency with local requirements.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across a diverse, global organization. Lead all aspects of the corporate accounting functions, including payroll, purchasing and treasury, providing leadership to a global team of approximately 30 and growing.
Skills and Qualifications
• CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
• Progressive experience leading accounting operations in a technology or SaaS environment, including global, multi entity organizations.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, including experience with complex and non-routine transactions.
• Proven experience owning and leading end to end accounting functions, including close, consolidation, financial reporting, statutory reporting, and audit management.
• Demonstrated success leading globally distributed and offshore accounting teams, with the ability to drive accountability, quality, and consistency across time zones.
• Experience driving process improvement and automation, including transforming manual workflows into scalable, system enabled processes.
• Strong cross functional partnership skills, with experience collaborating effectively with tax, legal, IT, operations, and business leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting or leading ERP implementations or major finance systems transformations.
• Exposure to M&A activities, including accounting diligence, purchase accounting, and post-acquisition integration.
• Experience evaluating and adopting automation or AI enabled tools within finance or accounting workflows.
• Lead accurate and timely monthly close and consolidation process, aligning complying with US GAAP reporting requirements.
• Ensure foreign statutory audits and related filings are completed timely and in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Drive the new ERP implementation; focused on a continuous improvement mindset within the team, assess processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive annual financial statement audits and work collaboratively with external audit teams and other technical accounting advisors.
• Lead the accounting effort for M&A diligence and integration.
• Lead the Company’s cash management function, partner cross functionally with relevant business teams to drive the Company’s cash flow reporting forecast.
• Collaborate with teams globally to ensure consistency in practice and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Regularly review team structure to ensure it can scale in an efficient manner with the business as it grows.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent professional certification
