The Role:
As an Assistant Client Money Manager, you will support the management of client money processes, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations, particularly CASS5. This part-time position involves assisting with financial processes, audits, and the development of client money procedures. Collaborating with the Client Money Manager and other teams, you'll play a vital role in maintaining operational accuracy and regulatory adherence.
3 days per week, with 1 day required in our London office
This role is well-suited for someone returning to work or seeking a part-time position.
What You'll Do:

Coordinate client money processes in line with FCA CASS5 regulations.

Assist in improving client money procedures and operating models.

Support the production and distribution of Client Money Management Information (MI).

Help resolve audit and regulatory review actions related to client money.

Perform client money calculations with accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain and update client money policies in collaboration with the IBA team.

Assist with client money audits and maintain the central repository of CASS information.

Stay informed on regulatory standards and ensure processes align with requirements.

Qualifications:

Ideally working towards or holding an accountancy qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).

Familiarity with FCA CASS5 rules and IBA processes is helpful but not crucial.
