Job Summary
The Assistant BSA works with the Business Applications team to evaluate business processes and create efficiencies by utilizing the company’s business systems.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assists a minimal number of end users with daily use of business application related software with assistance.
Develops a comprehensive knowledge of UFP business applications and processes through structured training program and on-the-job training activities.
Assists in the training of users of varying technical skills to utilize the company business applications.
Assists in conversion of acquired plants to our business systems.
Support Segment BSA team with internal tasks as assigned.
Complete branch startup and data conversion tasks as assigned.
Assists in conversion of acquired plants to one of our available ERP applications.
Prepares various reports as required.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or other related field
1-2 years of experience in UFP’s business systems.
Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization and culture.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Components including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Must work out of one of the Company's locations or the Company's corporate office
Travel expectation is approximately 15 weeks per year
