Job Description
The Assistant Boutique Manager acts as a Dior Ambassador and assists the Boutique Manager with passion and exemplarity promoting the Dior Values and Uniqueness. They are a key partner of the Boutique Manager and helps them drive and maximize the store performance with the highest standard of service to achieve Boutique goals. They are responsible for the respect of the Brand image and represents the brand values towards the customers and one’s colleagues. They embody the brand and contributes to the wider development of the business.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
- Under Boutique Manager’s leadership, daily contribute to manage the team and ensure a good level of team spirit and energy
- Assist in setting realistic individual KPIs for the team
- Assist in coaching and developing skills and knowledge of all team members using Dior tools and training materials
- Set an example on all boutique activities and rules
- Assist Boutique Manager by making recommendations towards the recruitment and development of team members (develop the skills and knowledge of all team members, one-on-one coaching) and identify team members training needs
BUSINESS STRATEGY:
- Strong partner of Boutique Manager in driving and monitoring business performance, and managing commercial activity on a daily basis with the help of performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assist in assigning and monitoring sales targets of team members
- Actively support Boutique Manager in the implementation and success of Dior launch plan and animations that galvanize the store
- Optimize stock levels and sell through
- Assume oversight of the boutique in the Boutique manager’s absence
CLIENT EXPERIENCE:
- Sell Dior products by meeting our clients’ needs and providing a memorable experience through high standard of service to clients throughout the whole sale following the brand D.I.O.R. method
- Achieve retail sales targets and contribute to boutique and services KPIs on a monthly basis
- Educate customers on the Dior brand and on Dior products
CLIENT MANAGEMENT:
- Contribute to spreading a client and service centric mind-set in the team
- Propose and execute in-store and remote actions to drive traffic to the store, to recruit new customers and to develop customer loyalty, guaranteeing excellent service
- Co-manage and lead team effort in clienteling and CRM activities, including effective usage of the tools
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT & REPORTING:
- Assist in organizing and managing timetables according to team and boutique activity
- Actively support Boutique Manager in the day-to-day management and administration of the boutique
- Assist Boutique Manager in opening and closing of the Boutique
- Co-own the following responsibilities with Boutique Manager:
- Ensure respect of all procedures towards sales, till, cash and stock management
- Effectively manage stock (quantities and merchandising guidelines) and ensures inventory accuracy
- Ensure operational compliance across the boutique (iPos, cashing procedures…)
- Ensure health and safety of teams are managed and in line with guidelines
- Ensure visual merchandising guidelines are applied to the highest standards
- Ensure smooth daily operational processes – opening, trade and closing
- Handle cash management in accordance to guidelines
- Frequently handle, lift, and move merchandise safely
Qualifications
- 3+ years of retail experience required, preferably with at least 1 year of management, preferably in the luxury retail environment
- Proven track record in achieving retail results (sales and profitability)
- Proven record of working within a luxury retail environment
- Experience of contributing and executing well planned and successful prestigious brand events (would be a plus)
- Digital savvy; experience/comfortable with operational POS systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Outlook, HRIS systems, Power Point, Client tracking systems and Point of Sales (POS)
- Able to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings

LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure.
While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published range of $70,000-$85,000.
