Assistant BOI Manager

The Lead BOI Officer is responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing all activities related to Thailand’s Board of Investment (BOI) privileges and compliance. This role ensures the company obtains and maintains BOI benefits while adhering to all regulatory, reporting, and documentation requirements. The position involves close collaboration with government agencies, internal departments, and external stakeholders to support business operations and maximize BOI advantages.

Key Responsibilities:

• BOI Documentation & Submission:

• • Responsible for applying for BOI privileges, preparing investment plans, equipment lists, and other related documents, and following up on the entire approval process with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI)

  • Regularly update headquarters on changes in BOI policies in Thailand (e.g., priority industries list) and propose responsive action plans.

  • Open new BOI projects / amend existing projects to align with factory production capacity and current product lines.

• • Prepare and submit forms for new items (e.g., HS code classification, category setup).

  • Provide consultation to relevant teams regarding BOI privileges.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and shipping agents to collect item details.

  • Submit applications to BOI for approval and manage maximum stock limits.

• Import/Export Operations:

  • Review invoices and packing lists for BOI shipments.

  • Release shipments under BOI privileges via the BOI online system.

  • Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure correct import/export entries.

• Stock Management:

  • Monitor and report maximum stock levels.

  • Adjust stock records and retrieve approval documents from the Investor Club.

• Compliance & Reporting:

  • Prepare annual reports to renew BOI privileges.

  • Handle abnormal cases (e.g., NG goods, scrap, dead stock).

  • Notify BOI of changes such as company address or warehouse relocation.

• Other Duties:

  • Support internal departments with BOI-related queries.

  • Assist in audits and inspections related to BOI activities.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders for smooth collaboration.
