Job Description

Purpose of the Job

Join our Payments team and play an important role in delivering a seamless payment experience for a diverse portfolio of clients. Working closely with colleagues across administration and client service teams, you'll support the processing of client payments, supplier maintenance and cash management activities, helping to ensure transactions are delivered accurately and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity to build your expertise in payment operations within a collaborative and fast-paced financial services environment. You'll gain exposure to a variety of payment processes, banking platforms and client structures while developing valuable technical and stakeholder management skills. Main Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of payment processing activities, supporting the accurate and efficient delivery of client and fund payments.
  • Prepare payment runs across various online banking platforms, helping to ensure a seamless payment experience.
  • Support supplier verification activities and maintain supplier information within internal systems.
  • Build strong relationships with administration teams and clients to support the smooth delivery of payment services.
  • Prepare payment documentation and supporting records for review and approval.
  • Maintain accurate records and workflow updates throughout the payment lifecycle.
  • Support post-payment reviews and cash management activities, contributing to high-quality service delivery.
  • Respond to payment-related enquiries and provide timely support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to reporting and operational activities that support team performance and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with colleagues across the business to deliver excellent client outcomes and enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Experience within payment operations, finance administration, financial services or a related environment.
  • Understanding of payment processing, cash management or client administration activities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, supporting the accurate delivery of client services.
