Job Description:

HK has adopted the new risk-based capital (RBC) framework, which aims to reflect the economic risks faced by insurance companies more accurately and promote effective risk management practices. The role is expected to focus on regulatory submissions, as well as contribute to production of RBC and optimization initiatives.

​Responsibilities

• Manage the key production process in RBC production

• Support year-end regulatory submissions and audit exercises

• Manage key workflows in BAU production of regulatory statistics submissions

• Analyze and execute optimization initiatives, on both financial aspects, e.g. ALM and reinsurance solutions, and operational aspects, e.g. streamline and automation of workflows

• Other support on need basis: Provide actuarial support to Team Lead based on business need

Requirements

• University Graduate in Actuarial Science or related disciplines

• Good progress in actuarial exams

• 4-6 years of full-time experience in life insurance industry

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in actuarial modelling, knowledge in AXIS and Prophet ALS are not required but a plus

• Experience in automation software, knowledge in Alteryx / Tableau Prep is not required but a plus
