We are seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join our client services team. This strategic role will play an integral part in assisting Account Managers with account service needs/business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in servicing key accounts while prioritizing and managing workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate delivery of key objectives.
Your Impact:
- Prepare, review and issue new business, renewal binders and policy changes within set authority
- Assist Account Managers with daily processing functions within our agency management system such as proposals, binders, policies, endorsements, audits, pending cancellations including reviewing for accuracy and invoicing
- Assure that electronic files are maintained per guidelines
- Independently support the Client Services team by completing additional tasks as needed, including but not limited to obtaining loss runs, subjectivity or additional information follow ups, reviewing insurance policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness
- Assess eligibility of potential clients by phone or email based on underwriting guidelines
- Independently maintain daily tasks in agency management system
- Facilitate claims process between clients and the carrier. Report claims to carrier, monitor status and provide timely correspondence and updates to clients
- Build and maintain working relationships with peers and other professionals across organizational lines; ability to work effectively independently and within a collaborative team environment
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- 4-year college degree preferred
- Technological/PC competence for computer/online work systems/programs including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe with ability to quickly learn proprietary software
- Ability to collect, analyze and organize complex data. Ability to demonstrate attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong organization and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload. Flexible and able to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks with interruptions and changing priorities
