Position Overview
Account Management at MullenLowe is about more than just client service (although we do that, too). The Assistant Account Executive is an entry-level position with a dual focus - supporting the Direct Marketing/Database account team with day-to-day administrative tasks while learning and facilitating the way work flows through the agency. The AAE is a student of agency process, working under the direction of the Account Supervisor and other more senior account team members, learning as much as possible through each interaction and applying their learnings to subsequent assignments. In this position, you must think critically, begin to develop a business acumen for our client’s industry, have excellent communication skills, and multi-task with the highest degree of detail.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and traffics briefs and assets between account management, creative and production teams to ensure delivery of projects within assigned timeline.
- Assists in ensuring accurate and timely data preparation activities for select direct mail/lists of names, addresses, etc. files used by customer stakeholders to inform their direct marketing/direct mail outreach efforts.
- Assists with list vendor(s) and the database management team projects to execute data processing efforts for Client direct mail efforts.
- Support the coordination, organization, development, and content aggregation of annual Client event.
- Maintains status reports for all client deliverables; assists on day-to-day execution of projects across direct marketing.
- Collaborate with team to develop promotional code/QR initiatives, including creation and tracking, that support marketing measurements and reporting.
- Drives efficient internal and client meetings/calls by creating and distributing agendas in advance and sending meeting notes/recaps afterwards.
- Conducts competitive research, compiling industry intelligence and sharing results with team. Gathering competitive and industry intelligence
- Uploads and organizes files on agency and client server
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Previous experience or internship in direct marketing, data admin or related field preferred.
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and Keynote.
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication required
- Practical Skills: Problem solver, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and close attention to detail.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
All hires must be located in or willing to relocate to Boston to work from our offices hybrid three days a week.
The annual salary range for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), stock purchase, vacation, sick and personal days.
