Job Description

Reporting to the Assets Manager, Global Partnerships, this position will be accountable for ensuring our team is set up to maximize existing and new inventory across our extensive portfolio of teams, venues and events. In collaboration with internal and external partners, you will ensure that the Global Partnerships team is equipped for executional excellence on all contractual obligations — some defined well in advance, others within tight timelines.

You ae a confident professional with excellent organization and communication skills who can multi-task while providing a lead role in the development and maintenance of a wide asset management program within Global Partnerships. You will play a key role in organizing, scheduling and coordinating assets across teams, venues and events to ensure timely delivery, optimal utilization and seamless execution of partnership commitments. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, energetic and organized thought-leader driven to continue to learn more about our business and find ways to maximize opportunity and efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES                                                         

  • Ongoing maintenance of scheduling of existing and newly developed/deployed virtual signage inventory across the NHL, NBA, MLS, and CFL (along with future opportunities as they are created)

  • Updating, distributing and curating inventory grids to be shared to third party vendors and internal teams for line of sight.

  • Development of optimization strategies for unused/unsold inventory to both drive new revenue as well as augment existing contractual commitments.

  • Collaborating with outside vendors and stakeholders to ensure alignment on partner program details.

  • Ongoing reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) including: media valuation, duration of exposure, and more

  • Oversight of key workflow processes required for programming to go live, including working with internal and external traffic teams on delivery instructions, changes to creative and reporting of results following execution.

  • Liaise with various league partners on best practices, asset benchmarking and compliance of evolving league rules & standards

  • Ensure delivery of assets by liaising with internal and outside vendors as well as other parties involved in production and installation.

  • Assist with other departmental duties as the need arises.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma; preferably in a sports, marketing, and/or business-related discipline

  • 1+ years of related and meaningful experience in an administrative, business, and/or partnership marketing role

  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, work under pressure & meet deadlines all with a strong attention to detail

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to clearly identify and present recommendations on how we can better improve the efficiency of our business

  • Proven experience in leading sophisticated projects with the ability to work in an environment with fluid structure and operations

  • High-level expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential and is comfortable working with large data sets focusing on generating insights and analyzing trends

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with public speaking

  • Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships both internally and externally

  • Strong time-management skills while managing evolving priorities and dealing with strict deadlines

  • Understands the importance of a MLSE’s brand and sports teams and strives to ensure all assets adhere to our visions and values.

  • Shown to perform well under pressure.

  • Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required / when applicable.

  • A positive, winning approach, incorporating integrity, confidentiality and discretion
