Broadcom develops critical Infrastructure chips that enable a variety of Customers to produce ASICs in almost all major segments of the Semiconductor industry, including AI. 

Be part of the Design Implementation team within Broadcom ASIC Products Division where we create CMOS ASIC's for industry leading AI & Machine Learning, Wireless, Networking, Computing, and Storage products. The candidate for this position will gain hands-on experience taking innovative integrated circuit designs from concept through product release. Become a member of an ASIC design team responsible for all aspects of physical ASIC design.

Job duties and responsibilities

Job Responsibilities may include:

• Customer communication

• Floor planning chips and blocks

• Routing

• Timing, both mission mode and test modes

• Integration of memories, SerDes, and I/O

• Work effectively with cross functional teams

• Integration of test and clocking structures

• Design of complex standard cell custom blocks.

• Understanding of design tradeoffs for power, area, and speed.

• Understanding of complex issues related to timing closure, power integrity and signal integrity.

• Physical verification to ensure error free artwork/mask release.

Minimum and preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering + 12 yrs experience

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering + 10 yrs experience

Skills and competencies

• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and as a member of a team to deliver quality designs

• Possess outstanding critical thinking, and communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $141,000 - $225,0000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
