Job Description

AECOM is looking for an Architecture Assurance for employment in Lima, Peru. 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Review conceptual design proposals from the UK designs team.
  • Provide comments on design proposals to  ensure compliance with applicable local (or international, where relevant) standards and regulations.
  • Participate in interface calls with the UK design team to resolve questions and queries and follow up on deliverables. English proficiency is preferred.
  • Respond promptly to queries/RFIs from the design team.
  • Communicate with the client's technical team to present proposals and resolve questions.
  • Participate and communicate with other PMO areas, such as risk, schedule, quality, and cost, to ensure alignment.
  • Give presentations and/or workshops to the client as part of the Knowledge Transfer element of our G2G Contract.
  • Prepare letters to the client to request the required information.
  • Provide guidance to the UK design team on Peruvian technical design practices when relevant for a better understanding of the client and their expectations.
  • Develop content for technical documentation, such as High-Level Requirements and technical specifications for environments, review them together with the client, and update the documentation based on what is agreed upon.
  • Share and explain the technical documentation prepared to the UK team to ensure their understanding.
  • Participate in meetings with third parties, such as GORE, subcontractors, and concessionaires, as necessary.
  • Participate in specific trips to sites/locations to present progress to stakeholders and/or gather necessary information for the development of the conceptual design.
  • Perform a technical evaluation of the information delivered by bidding contractors.
  • Review of the Design Supervisor's reports.
  • Review of the main contractor's design.
  • Respond to the main contractor's queries.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Architect + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Experience in hospital development projects
  • Advance level of English
  • Knowledge of BIM interface
  • Registered in the Peruvian National College of Architecture.

  • Architect + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • PMP Certificate
