Team Overview:

This role will lead ITOM (IT Operations Management) and the CMDB team. The leader will work in a highly collaborative manner with the ServiceNow development staff, ServiceNow system administrator, and other members of the ServiceNow platform team.

The Role:

  • This position will be responsible for design, orchestrating, and implementing D&B’s ServiceNow IT service management solutions.
  • Creating strategic roadmaps for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it aligns with business and IT goals.
  • Design the overall architecture of the ServiceNow implementation, including integrations with other enterprise systems and data flow to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Oversees the implementation of ServiceNow, ensuring best practices are followed and the platform is used to its full potential.
  • Ensures ServiceNow integrates seamlessly with other enterprise tools and systems (e.g. Workday, Snowflake, Harness, Jira, etc) to enhance workflow automation and data consistency across the board.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the ServiceNow deployment adheres to relevant security protocols and compliance regulations
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it can scale effectively with the growth of the business.
  • Oversee any necessary custom development with the platform. 

Key Responisbilities:

  • Define, guide, and support the execution of technical governance processes.
  • Help develop standards and practices for maintaining the ServiceNow architecture model.
  • Support design and implementation of a platform operating model to achieve desired outcomes and foster end-user adoption .
  • Provide technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices.
  • Offers guidance on prototyping and accelerating time from design to deployment.
  • Advises on configuration and coding standards.
  • Supports remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practices.
  • Works closely with all practice owners, ITSM and the Desk.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience. 
  • 7+ years in a ServiceNow Platform or CMDB Architect role. 
  • Cloud application technology experience.
  • Enterprise architecture experience with large program experience leading architecture and architecture design. 
  • Ability to work independently in unstructured environment. Must be highly motivated to work on large and complex systems. 
  • Highly-collaborate team player who can build strong relationships at all levels of the technology and business organizations
