Position Overview:
The Architectural Designer - Façade Design & Special Projects is responsible for executing multiple projects (bespoke and institutional facades, as well as special architecture projects) and is responsible for conceptual design through a creative approach, design development, project reviews, project communications, quality and design control, scheduling, and project reporting. This individual must be creative, technical and with a project management attitude, detailed oriented and have the ability to develop design concepts within the Tiffany and Company standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and refine elevated design concepts based on the creative direction from Senior Management.
- Build strategic and elevated design for the retail environment that upholds and maintains the essence of the brand while ensuring its image consistency worldwide and continue fostering the brand’s recognizability.
- Develop creative strategies and design directions/briefs to execute facades and new concepts for store interiors that build upon Tiffany’s core values and strengthen its culture / brand image.
- Responsible for researching trends, competitors, innovative materials that can be applied to projects through mood boards, target analysis, competition research.
- Participate in design conversation with Architects firms, consultants, and vendors, from the concept phase to the construction development.
- Material research and sample boards.
- Participate to conversation with all external consultants, including Architect Firms, GCs, vendors, and Local Architects.
- Follow up with consultants, answering Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Ability to handle project management phase
- Organize work completion meetings, report, and list any punch list and follow up actions.
- Set up agendas for meetings and assist with ad hoc projects.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative culture.
- Promote innovation and out of the box thinking.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in luxury/fashion & jewelry retail / branding and design industries/ architectural firms.
- Professional degree in Architecture preferred.
- Experience in understanding shop drawings, structural drawings, and project schedules as to understand architectural intent.
- Availability to travel to attend mock-up, testing and job site inspections, including project reports for all the parties involved.
- Strong believer in teamwork and multidisciplinary approach, able to create excellent interpersonal relations.
- Passion for building brands and challenging status quo, with a cultural awareness that advises key concepts and emerging trends.
- Outstanding creative skills with a forward-thinking and innovative approach
- Work proactively to review and correct submittals to maintain project schedule.
- Creative strategy and Project development experience, including operational plans and compelling presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Modeling with 3D program (Rhino, Cinema4D, 3D Studio Max) and use of software for rendering (Vray)
- AutoCAD
- Expertise on Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
- High proficient using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Nice to have: Experience and expertise in Videomaking for Creative Concept, Creative Strategy, CVM – Premiere Pro, Cinema4D, 3D Studio Max, After Effects as an optional.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $84,745-114,655. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
