The Role 

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Architect – End User Computing  (EUC) where you will serve as the primary technical authority for customer EUC  engagements, owning end-to-end solution architecture and delivery across AWS, VMware, and Citrix environments. You’ll be a trusted advisor at the executive level, lead and mentor a team of engineers, and provide strategic architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle. In addition to your delivery focus, you will support Pre-Sales efforts through solution design, scoping, and effort estimation. 

Responsibilities Include:

Solution Architecture & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of AWS AppStream, Workspaces Core w/ Citrix solutions for enterprise-scale customer environments.

• Define and govern architectural standards for Omnissa Horizon VDI environments, encompassing Instant Clones, RDSH, App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager, TrueSSO, Workspace ONE Access, and Thinapp.

• Architect multi-cloud EUC strategies across Horizon Cloud Services and supported Hyperscalers, specifically Horizon on Azure and AWS Core Solutions, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization.

• Design and oversee enterprise-grade Workspace ONE UEM implementations for device management, application delivery, and compliance enforcement at scale.

• Define and drive integration of Omnissa identity, access management, and zero-trust security frameworks across the full EUC stack.

• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, providing Tier 4 architectural guidance and resolution oversight.

Pre-Sales Support 

• Collaborate with the Sales team to provide technical solution design, scope definition, and effort estimation for customer opportunities.• Develop and present high-level architectural proposals, Bills of Materials (BoM), and Statements of Work (SoW) to prospective clients and internal stakeholders.

• Participate in customer discovery workshops and RFP/RFI responses, articulating Presidio’s EUC capabilities and value proposition.

Customer & Executive Engagement 

• Engage directly with customer CxO and executive leadership to present architectural roadmaps, influence technology decisions, and build long-term strategic relationships.

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for key customer accounts throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment between customer business objectives and EUC solutions.

• Facilitate executive briefings, architecture review sessions, and technology workshops with customers, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value narratives.

Administration & Governance

• Establish and enforce architectural governance standards and best practices across Horizon infrastructure, Unified Access Gateways, App Volumes Managers, TrueSSO, and vSphere.

• Oversee Workspace ONE enrollment, profiles, compliance policies, and application lifecycle governance across customer environments.

• Ensure Omnissa identity services are architecturally sound and properly configured for SSO, MFA, and conditional access at the enterprise level.

Security & Compliance

• Define and champion security architecture for VDI, mobile endpoints, and cloud-hosted desktops, embedding zero-trust principles from the ground up.

• Lead compliance design reviews and ensure architectural alignment with corporate, regulatory, and industry security standards.

Performance & Optimization

• Lead capacity planning, performance modeling, and tuning strategies for large-scale Horizon and Workspace ONE environments, establishing long- term scalability roadmaps.

• Design and govern monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks for proactive issue prevention and continuous service improvement.

People Leadership & Mentoring

• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and career mentorship to Lead and Senior Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and engineering excellence.• Conduct architecture and design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and guide the engineering team on complex delivery challenges.

• Drive knowledge sharing, internal documentation, and best practice development across the EUC practice.

Required Skills and Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 12+ years of experience in End User Computing Solutions, with a demonstrated track record of architecting and delivering enterprise-scale EUC environments.

• Deep architectural expertise with Citrix w/ AWS Workspaces Core and AppStream at enterprise scale.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Omnissa Horizon (VDI, App Volumes, DEM), including advanced design and architecture of complex multi-site deployments.

• Advanced expertise in Workspace ONE UEM and Workspace ONE Access, with the ability to design and govern enterprise-wide deployments.

• Strong architectural knowledge of Omnissa identity and access management solutions, including federation, conditional access, and privileged identity management.

• Deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in complex, multi-domain enterprise environments.

• Advanced expertise in SSL certificates, load balancing, firewall architecture, and network design as it pertains to EUC environments.

• Mastery of zero-trust principles, MFA, conditional access, and modern endpoint security architecture.

• Proven experience in solution scoping, effort estimation, and technical proposal development in support of Pre-Sales engagements.

• Relevant certifications preferred (good to have): VMware VCP-DTM, VMware Horizon Specialist, Omnissa Architect-level certifications, AWS Solutions Architect, and Citrix CCP-V / CCE-V.

• Ability to engage confidently with CxO and executive-level stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into compelling business outcomes.

• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain engineering talent across Lead and Senior levels.

• Exceptional attention to detail in architecture design, technical documentation, and solution governance.

• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including networking, security, application, and project management in global delivery

environments.
