We are seeking a detail-driven and experienced Architect to oversee the architectural integrity, design compliance, and construction quality of a mission-critical data center project. This role ensures that the facility is built according to approved architectural plans, meets functional and aesthetic standards, and complies with all applicable codes and regulations.Job Description
About the Role:
- Serve as the on-site representative of the architectural design team during construction
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate implementation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality of architectural finishes (e.g., walls, ceilings, partitions, facades).
- Approve material samples and mock-ups submitted by contractors.
- Identify and document non-conformances, and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil teams to resolve design conflicts.Ensure compliance with local building codes, accessibility standards, and fire/life safety regulations.
- Participate in design change reviews, RFIs, and submittal processes.
- Maintain detailed field reports, punch lists, and progress documentation.
About You:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed/Registered Architect (RA) preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in architectural oversight of large-scale construction projects, ideally data centers or critical facilities.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and architectural detailing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.
- Familiarity with Tier III/IV data center design standards is a plus.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
