Job Summary:
The Red Hat product services team is looking for a Cloud Architect to work on Cloud Application Development projects to join us in Raanana Office, Israel.
In this role, you will gain understanding of the infrastructures and business needs of our customers and make recommendations appropriate to their environments. You'll build on your core technical expertise and work in a fast-paced environment, promoting Red Hat’s solutions.
Job Responsibilities

Combine technical knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for our customers

Assist with technical and non-technical project related activities

Find solutions that will benefit customers and create new opportunities for Red Hat

Act as a trusted advisor to the customer, and assist the project or technical managers in setting and delivering on expectations

Bring innovative ideas and enthusiasm to the project team

Maintain an understanding of industry practices through project experience and training

Work closely with colleagues in a collaborative team environment, providing and sharing knowledge; build and maintain excellent relationships with your associates and our customers

Develop your knowledge in Red Hat technologies using Red Hat University and support from the wider consulting team to apply these concepts to customer needs

Learn and develop technical knowledge from a variety of projects

Understand where your areas of development are to build on and use this to grow your skill set
Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field of study; equivalent work experience, or industry-recognised certifications, particularly Red Hat certifications, will also be valued and considered

Prior expereince working in consulting, architecture, or a similar role

Strong awareness of modern application development practices and the software delivery life cycle

Experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices and cloud-native design patterns is a big plus
-
Experience with Kubernetes (OpenShift is a bonus)

Knowladge of API Gateways, database design, CI/CD and RESTful APIs, JSON, web services and XML is a big advantage

Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and guide customer interactions
