We are seeking a GL28 IT Professional - Automation & Reporting with 10+ years of Healthcare IT experience. This role emphasizes automation configuration and data visualization/reporting using Power BI, Smartsheet, and Excel automation. You will configure automation workflows, optimize reporting dashboards, and support governance processes for operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Power BI, Smartsheet, ETL tools) to support business goals and operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models for operational and governance insights
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation workflows (e.g., scheduled jobs, CI/CD pipelines, triggers) to streamline IT operations
  • Utilize Microsoft Power Platform as Unified suite of low-code tools-including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Power Virtual Agents
  • Develop conceptual and logical architectures for automation, data integration, and reporting, ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and governance standards
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies that optimize automation and reporting, ensuring business value and innovation
  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, solution optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all automation and reporting solutions adhere to healthcare security and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, PHI)
  • Governance Support: Manage meeting logistics for automation governance and reporting reviews; capture decisions and maintain documentation
  • Intake Management: Coordinate intake for automation and reporting requests; validate requirements and route appropriately
  • Enablement: Provide peer-to-peer training on automation tools, Power BI, Smartsheet, and Excel automation best practices
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with significant exposure to automation, reporting, and enterprise architecture
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale automation and reporting solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Power Platform, Power BI, Smartsheet, ETL tools, and cloud platforms
  • Solid understanding of architectural and integration patterns, data modelling, and security frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools for automation jobs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, API connectors and ETL processes
  • Proven healthcare compliance exposure and risk management processes
