GEICO is seeking a highly efficient associate with strong analytical and organizational abilities to join our Payment Recovery Unit, as an Arbitration Panelist. In this role, the Arbitration Panelist will work to ensure that for every case we file in Arbitration Forums, Inc. that we hear a case from a competitor to ensure we maintain a heard to filed ratio of 1:1.
What You’ll Do:
- Under close supervision, HEARS cases in Arbitration Forums, Inc. to assist member companies in resolving liability and/or damage disputes. May assist Applicant and/or Panelist Examiners by ANALYZING, NEGOTIATING, PURSUING, RECOVERING, COMMUNICATING, and DEVELOPING contentions to obtain subrogation recoveries and defend the Company’s liability and damage position. 
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years of claims (ICS), PRU and/or auto damage adjustor experience required 
- Experience with ATLAS and Arbitration Forums Inc (AFI) system applications preferred 
- Ability to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills, multi-task. 
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing 
- Ability to perform duties within a stationary workstation. 
- Ability to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information. 
- Ability to identify and negotiate settlements effectively 
- Ability to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills 
- Ability to multitask with effective attention to detail and decision-making skills 
- Ability to meet corporate attendance standards

Annual Salary
$23.40 - $42.73The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
