A day at Driscoll’s:
Your first responsibility is to ensure that all banks were downloaded, all payments got applied to the corresponding debtor account so that all team members have an updated overview of their portfolios.
Once all payments are applied and you communicated the status of the bank application to the AR team, you take your lunch break.
After your break, you take a variety of our delicious fresh berries back to your desk and move on to your pending claim overview in salesforce and finalize all open claims by creating credit notes. In case an account manager has not created his case correctly, you will contact the account manager, to make sure that the claim will be updated.
Once you have completed all open claims, you support the AR supervisor with the processing of intercompany claims, corrections and invoices. In case of irregularities or escalations, you then talk to your AR Supervisor or in his absence the AR Manager who will be happy to help you resolve any potential query. Responsibilities
- Take care of the daily processing of the bank statements for the EU and UK team.
- Responsible for the timely processing of claims/invoice corrections by communicating with internal and external customers through reminders, arranging calls and coordination between all involved parties.
- Monitoring a small portfolio of customers and ensuring the timely collection of open invoices through communication by email, phone or or meetings with Sales and Customers.
- Supporting the AR supervisor with the preparation of intercompany invoices and credit notes, according to internal approval guidelines and;
- Support the AR Supervisor during month-end-tasks.
- You have an HBO degree or alternatively MBO with HBO mindset with at least 1 year working experience in the field of cash accounting, billing or cash collection.
- You're fluent in English and speak at least one of the following languages: Dutch, French, Spanish or German.
- You're a great communicator, can work accurately and are resourceful to achieve your desired outcome.
- You're comfortable using Excel and other MS Office apps, experience with MS AX is a pre - but not a requirement.
