What's the job?

Alongside your team, you will advise consumers on healthcare products and manage a portfolio of SBS clients to achieve a range of business targets including revenue, retention and quality.

You'll get a lot of exposure to the various elements that make up our team, and we provide full training for our new apprentices.

What you'll do

Your day-to-day will be varied but will include:

  • Maintaining records in a timely and accurate manner to enable the business to obtain all relevant and required management information
  • Advising on health and wellbeing products to achieve the best fit to customer needs, ensuring fair treatment of customers
  • Conducting a comprehensive market review to gather sufficient information to enable you to make a suitable recommendation ensuring the delivery of appropriate outcomes
  • Completing all supporting documentation in a compliant, timely and accurate manner
  • Ensuring outstanding items, payments and mandates are followed up regularly by maintaining an effective diary tracking system
  • Developing effective working relationships with employees throughout the business
  • Completing all the relevant apprentice qualification (including the Cert CII qualification) and training within the agreed timescales
  • Attending regular 121’s and meetings within external training programme

You'll be expected to work within the Company’s established business procedures and within the rules and guidelines of the relevant regulatory environment.

Who we're looking for

This is a starter role with full training and continuous development provided. However, experience in a customer-focused environment is desirable.

You'll be an effective communicator with fantastic people skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail.

What do we offer in return?

A career that you define. At Howden, we value diversity – there is no one Howden type. Instead, we’re looking for individuals who share the same values as us:

  • Our successes have all come from someone brave enough to try something new

  • We support each other in the small everyday moments and the bigger challenges

  • We are determined to make a positive difference at work and beyond

Reasonable adjustments
