Appraisal Reviewer

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB

Perform the appraisal review function and recommend additions and deletions to the Approved Appraiser Database.

· Ensures the confidentiality of customer non-public personal information and secures information systems to comply with bank regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS

· Review appraisal reports for both new and renewal loan requests;

· Perform or review in-house evaluations;

· Resolve appraisal errors / deficiencies; and,

· Assist in maintaining the Approved Appraiser List.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Demonstrated knowledge of all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements;

· Demonstrated expertise in oral and written communication;

· Demonstrated expertise in analysis and decision support; and,

· Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage deadlines.

The following specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum education and experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred; and

· Three years’ experience in appraisal review, commercial real estate, or finance preferred. Experience may replace formal education requirement.
