As a System Test Tech Lead in Nokia's Femto performance and capacity team, you will enjoy a collaborative work environment focused on mobile network solutions for the Space and Defense sector.
Responsibilities- Lead system test efforts for cutting-edge RAN technologies in 4G, 5G, IoT, CBRS, and Small Cell deployments.
- Collaborate with Product Management and System Architecture to analyze feature requirements from a performance perspective.
- Develop test strategies, plan efforts, and set up test beds for execution alongside team members.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables by adhering to established practices and processes throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Focus on overall architecture and design, contributing actively to testing and debugging efforts.
- Debug critical field issues from Managed Service Providers (MSPs) worldwide, enhancing product performance.
- Foster a high-performance culture by promoting teamwork, multitasking, and prioritization among team members.
- Engage with the latest technology developments, allowing you to drive innovation and tackle challenging assignments.
You have:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or similar with 12 to 15 years of work experience in telecommunications
- Strong understanding of SA, NSA User Plane, RLC, MAC, and L1 performance parameters.
- Hands-on experience with QC Mobile, commercial UE, and tools like QXDM/QPST/XCAL/TEMS
- Familiarity with 5G L2 features, Link Adaptation, RR, and PFS Scheduler
- Proficient in link budget analysis, power control, and L1 feature testing
- Excellent log analysis and debugging skills
- Knowledge of CPU and memory loading calculations for gNB performance testing
It would be nice if you also had:
- Practical experience with manual and programmable attenuators, RF chamber understanding, and mobility testing with real UE
- Good knowledge of TM500 for load and performance testing
- Proficiency with 3GPP RRC, RLC, and MAC specifications
