Job Summary:
The Applications Specialist is responsible for preparing permit, utility and state application packages, tracking/recording all applications' progress, and maintaining positive relationships with municipalities and applicable organizations. An ideal candidate for the position will be amiable, detail-oriented, organized, dependable, motivated, and able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare permit, utility and state application packages
- Assist in compiling information necessary to complete application packages
- Track progress and update information in database
- Review and distribute documents and correspondence
- Perform administrative functions including but not limited to: incoming calls, copying, scanning, emailing, preparing shipments, and filing
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with municipalities and applicable organizations
- May require permit running
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Exemplary interpersonal skills
- Proficient in various forms of communication
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
- Consistent thoroughness/attention to detail
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF)
- Notary Public preferred, but not required
Education and Experience:
- College degree preferred
- 1+ year(s) of office experience
- Permitting experience preferred
- Solar Admin experience preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
$19-22/ hr
