Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsibilities include designing high density 400V+ DCDC isolated converters, developing and debugging analog circuits, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing application support and technical training.
Essential Functions
Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define high density module products in cloud computing power solutions for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and SOC.
Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for Data Center/AI applications.
Hands-on lab bench evaluations, system and board level debugging, and prototype demonstrations.
Work with cross-functional teams to support existing products and drive new product development.
Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products.
Qualifications/ Requirements
MSEE or higher required
2+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supply designs. Familiar with lab tools like oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, e-loads, frequency analyzer, etc.
Lab automation experience with Python is a plus
Experience with simulation tool like Simplis, Maxwell, Icepak, etc. is preferred.
Experience in PCB design/layout is a plus.
Fluent communication skills in English
Excellent writing and presentation skills

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $130,000 - $150,000.
