Principal Activities
· Prepares verbal and written quotations for domestic and international customers and representatives via telephone, fax, and email.
· Assists customer inquiries on order status, ship methods, tracking numbers, freight charges, pricing and availability.
· Analyses business opportunities facilitate requests for project quotations and ensures that processes are is correctly executed, according to customer request.
· Be a technical resource and have the organizational agility to find answers and solve problems.
· Has a desire and ambition to grow into a larger role of responsibility.
· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate data entry skills and knowledge of Word and Excel software.
· Able to solve routine and complex problems using information sources provided, or by conceptual and innovative thinking, with or without supervision
· All other duties as assigned.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· Finalizes negotiation with customers. Knowledge of T&C are necessary
· Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer's satisfaction and sales potential.
· Has 2-4 years technical customer service experience in manufacturing support.
· Has a sound, in-depth understanding of concepts and principles in customer service.
· Acts as Customers’ advocate within the organization and is accountable for Customer Satisfaction.
· Document sales and marketing activities along with tracking of opportunities.
· Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures.
· Self-starter, organized, thorough and meticulous, able to work under pressure.
· Experience in a technical environment
· Able to plan work and commit to meeting deadlines.
· Dedicated to high degree of accuracy.
· Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, and Access software.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
· 5 years’ relevant experience. Valve, regulator, fluid mechanics/control related coursework/education will be additional qualification.
