The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Applications Developer (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and development of web-based applications, with a strong background in web programming languages such as C#, VB.Net, and JavaScript. The Applications Developer will be responsible for developing complex software solutions, ensuring code quality, and performing thorough debugging and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using C#, VB.Net, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.

  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.

  • Debug and test applications to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA or BS degree in a related IT field is desired.

  • Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience with the design and development of web-based applications.

  • Extensive experience with application development using web programming languages such as C#, VB.Net, and JavaScript.

  • Proven experience in writing clean and scalable code.

  • Strong debugging and testing skills.

  • Ability to develop complex software solutions.

  • Required Certifications:

  • At least one of the following:

  • CompTIA Security+

  • CE (Certified Ethical Hacker)

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

  • CASP (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner)

  • Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with modern web frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular, React).

  • Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,800 - $218,100
