Labcorp is seeking a Senior SQL/SSIS Developer to join our team!
Job Responsibilities
- Work with BAs and business stakeholders to collect & interpret requirements, and define technical alternatives, tools, and approach
- Develop, test, implement and document the technical solution to address the defined business requirements
- Leverage SQL Server and SSIS expertise to build and enhance batch integrations. Design database/table, write Stored Procedures in SQL Server
- Support current production applications and provide quick fixes for high priority/severity production incidents
- Understand the existing framework of batch integrations and dependencies, and be able to independently manage (run, recover, report) the batch integrations without adverse business impact
- Adhere to software development methodologies and follow best practices
- Participate with the development team and IT staff as appropriate in the design of solutions
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
- 6 or more years of experience with the knowledge and ability to write advanced T-SQL code
- Experience developing enterprise applications with database technologies including SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with ETL development and design as well as data migration activities, data analysis and reporting queries
- Experience with data profiling tools and performance tuning on SQL Server
- Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical)
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot complex SQL code
- Experience designing tables and/or databases based on business needs and requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with ability to create and maintain detailed documentation

- Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and make good decisions quickly
- Ability to quickly understand and adjust to changing business needs and drive IT's impact on its success
