Job SummaryWe are looking for a new Applications and Database Specialist employee to be based in Tczew
Summary:
Primary Objective: Ensure the reliability, availability, and continuous operation of business applications, including ERP, MES, HR, and Financial Systems.
What a typical day looks like:
- Participate in the implementation, enhancement, and support of business applications and system functionalities.
- Perform day-to-day administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with external vendors, internal consultants, Key Users, and Help Desk teams to ensure seamless system operations.
- Develop and support business solutions that improve productivity and user experience.
- Define and implement procedures and technical solutions to enhance system performance, stability, standardization, and security.
- Create, analyze, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Administration of enterprise system databases (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Prepare and maintain technical, functional, and process documentation for business applications and implemented solutions.
The experience/qualification we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 2-5 years experience in IT business analyst function and database administration responsibilities
- Good Polish & English language skills
- Eligibility to work in Poland
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP, MES, HR, or Financial Systems administration and support.
- Knowledge of SQL, reporting, and data visualization tools.
- Experience working with business users, external vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- ITIL®, ERP, or other relevant application/platform certifications are an advantage.
