Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of essential applications and services. Roles & Responsibilities: "• To handle 24/7 Network Operations as per shift timings including week end support. • To take ready ownership of incidents assigned to the queue in Service Now. • To perform Level 1 troubleshooting readily and update the tickets in timely manner • Pass on the tickets / incident details to the next level of escalation within the SLA. • Develop and provide trend data and analysis on various reporting within the team. • Participate in client and service management reporting as required." - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Proactively identify and resolve application issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Develop and maintain technical documentation for support processes. - Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance support services. Technical experience "• Good knowledge and troubleshooting experience of MPLS, BGP, MP-BGP,OSPF,GRE and IP Sec tunnels, QoS,Nexus/Switching concepts • Basic knowledge and troubleshooting experience of Firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet), VPN Technologies. • Experience in troubleshooting issues on large enteprise networks. • Understanding of ITIL framework and processes. • Working knowledge of Service Now • Exposure to various Network Management Tools (HP, Splunk etc)." Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Enterprise Network Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Cloud Network Operations. - Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations. - Knowledge of network security principles and best practices. - Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. - Ability to analyze and interpret network traffic patterns. Additional Information: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Science/Computer Science /Electronics or any other relevant field. CCNA/CCNP certification will be an advantage. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.15 years full time education
