Adapting to this changing environment, Vanderlande runs several programs. These programs touch our core tools: ERP systems, surrounding applications and integrations. Within this role, based within IT, you advise, configure and implement changes in our core tools following business roadmap programs. You work together with business, IT specialists, IT architects and implementation partners.
What will you be doing?
As an Application Specialist, you are responsible for the preparation, design, setup, implementation, and support of our Finance applications. Your main focus will be JDEdwards. You are at the forefront of integrating our Finance concepts into our Finance IT landscape. The applications are continuously improved through a number of smaller to very large initiatives.
Responsibilities
Translating business requirement into functional and technical requirements
Translating the requirements into configurations and customizations in Finance applications
Steering the implementation partner(s)
Conducting unit tests of new configurations and customizations
Guiding acceptance tests and training key users
In the position of Application Specialist, you work closely together with the Product Owner Finance Applications, Business Architects and Subject Matter Experts to deliver a solution that matches the business needs.
Your team
You will work in the Finance Applications DevOps team, working on the Vanderlande Finance applications, such as JDEdwards, Vena Fluence and Tungsten. The team is part of the Application department in ICT, consisting of +/- 100 employees improving and supporting the Vanderlande applications.
What do we ask from you?
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years work experience in IT
- You are a team player and enjoy realizing new functionality in teams
- You enjoy troubleshooting technical issues and have experience in analyzing complex issues
- You like working on several (sub) projects simultaneously
- Quality of work is something you see as key
- Experience in Maximo is a pre
- You are fluent in English (both spoken and written), being fluent in Dutch is a pre
What we offer
This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4.600 to € 6.150 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
