Application Scientist II - Cosmetics

We are looking for an Application Scientist II to join our team. The Application Scientist will provide technical assistance to internal and external customers through excipient formulation, custom blending, prototyping, and small scale and commercial trial batches.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborates with the Technical team elaborating ready to cosmetics formulations.
• Creates new color customized solutions in the formulation system, reporting on new product specifications.
• Leads projects where product applications are required to offer color solutions.
• Completes complex tasks in a timely manner to support business objectives.
• Reports on how new product ideas could be used organizationally.
• Works on new product ideas and modifications to determine their potential to address customer needs.
• Collaborates in customer visits and customer trainings.
• Scales up and first production supervision to ensure proper industrialization.
• Design the best color solution based on customers desired target markets and associated regulatory requirements.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in general science or food science or equivalent education.  
• A minimum of two years of experience in the industry formula and product development, and management project experience preferred. Cosmetics, Healthcare, Personal Care applications expertise preferred.
• Creative, Driven-on result skills. 
• Fluent English/ Spanish.
