Key Responsibilities
- Manage general application related tasks and daily operation. Maintain usability of applications e.g. SW updates, execute a working CI/CD pipeline and develop solutions for issues.
- Maintain and improve testing monitoring, alerting, clean up and logging of application components
- Support automation of processes, service deliveries and deployment pipelines
- Request and manage certificates
- Arrange access for new users and manage access for existing users to relevant applications.
- Support issue handling by data and system analysis to find root causes.
- Measure process performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and support improvements
- Document processes and monitor compliance with procedures.
- Drive Kubernetes, Docker and Open Shift related activities (migrations, signatures, documentation, ...)
- Help to implement AI to improve efficiency
- Work with international colleagues from different departments and cultures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferable Experience: 2-3 years in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineer role or related fields.
- Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
- Application Environment Knowledge: Docker, Kubernetes, helm charts, Git or other VCS concepts, TLS/SSL certificate management, SW deployment strategies
- Programming Skills: Experience in reading and writing of scripts e.g. shell scripting.
- Data Handling: Data base skills e.g. MS-SQL, MySQL, SQLite are an advantage
- IT Collaboration Tools: Experience with tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira and MS Office
- Quality Mindset: Basic understanding of quality improvement methods.
- Operations: Willingness to take operational tasks
- Security Awareness: Basic knowledge of information security and cryptography is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Good in analytical and teamwork abilities, proactive, problem solving, independent and reliable work style, curiosity to learn and adapt quickly.
