The Application & Front Office Supporter role provides expert-level business application support to front-office teams, ensuring smooth advisory and discretionary processes through issue resolution, change management, and close collaboration with IT and product teams. With a strong focus on user adoption, the role drives training, communication, and project support across regions, requiring excellent organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced private banking environment.YOUR CHALLENGEApplication & Front Office Support
Provide front-office users with a high quality support in the context of advisory & discretionary processes and tools.
• Take leadership in complex front office requests overlapping different advisory and discretionary solution units or divisions
• 2nd level business support for front queries on operational/ transactional issues in the context of advisory & discretionary process
• Analysis of recurrent problems and solution identification in close collaboration with Product Owner and Product Manager
• Responsible for the delivery application support functions, incorporating the ownership, analysis and resolution of service incidents and problems
• Manage queries in a timely and efficient manner to provide front users with high quality solutions
Change Management, Communication & Special Tasks
Ensure tool adoption through management and coordination of change & communication activities.
• Bridge the gap between users and development teams: represent the voice of the user across the full lifecycle — from pre-testing and pilot engagement to post-rollout feedback management
• Coordinate communications & change management activities during roll-out phase
• Training and post-implementation support (e.g. coaching) for font related new applications and releases
• Train new joiners on front business applications Support conceptional work and provide presentations and documents
• Management and support of special/local projects
• Support task force activities (e.g. incident management)
• Support of testing activities for global releases
• Project roll-out support (extended arm of business analysts & product owner team)
• Foster collaboration across geographies: build strong connections between teams to ensure alignment and shared ownership
Good knowledge of IT applications (windows) and support tools & processes
• Bachelor in Business Administration or similar educational level
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the financial industry
• Excellent command of both the Chinese and English languages
• Pragmatic and open-minded team player
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate effectively across all levels)
• Action orientated, with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas of work
• Able to deliver quality results with a challenging, positive, influential style
• Commercial approach should be a priority, with a focus on best practice (customer oriented)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and investigation skills, with an ability to resolve issues in a high-pressure environment
• Sound understanding of the end-to-end operations in a private bank
• Flexible and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability when working across regions, time zones, and diverse teams
• Familiarity with advisory & discretionary tools, processes and products would be an asset
• Familiarity with agile development processes and framework would be an asset
