Role Summary: Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (ComOps Applications Engineer). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications. In particular, Applications Engineer is responsible for redacting variety of quotations for Flowserve Pump Division Customer Portfolio. Main task will include quotation preparation, specification review, price development, terms and conditions analysis. Coordination and interaction with several internal (engineering, sales, Supply Chain) and external (sub-suppliers, Customers) stakeholder is key factor .
You will report to ComOps Manager or Supervisor
Your role:
- Support and proactively keep high level interaction with sales team, operations and other stakeholders, in order to offer best Customer experience
- Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals
- Cost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
- Technical and commercial preparation of offers
- Monitor and manage entire offer cycle (technical alignment, price revision, CRM management)
- Risk Assessment management to reduce technical and financial risk
- Order acceptance, review, and clean order hand over to Order Fulfillment team
Your Profile:
- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
- Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking
- Ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills
- Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Proposal Engineer.
- Fluent English, additional language knowledge is a plus
- Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications
- Limited availability to travel abroad
