In most global companies, Application Engineers are responsible for quotation-related activities, through which they enhance their technical knowledge and deepen their understanding of company products. Key Responsibilities· Prepare quotations aligned with technical requirements and expectations, commercial conditions provided by sales, and delivery times confirmed by the factory.
· Provide technical support and advice to the sales team and customers to sell, and successfully implement product and service solutions that meet customer needs.
· Respond to enquiries given from the sales organization or customers regarding technical aspects of products and services.
· Support sales teams and distribution channels by managing complaints and issues affecting customer orders, coordinating as necessary with Sales, Service, Finance, and Operations to resolve order‑related issues.
· Apply system specifications and formalized solution representations (e.g., flow charts, models) to configure systems that meet customer requirements.
· Liaise with Product Management to ensure products and services are appropriately modified, configured, and installed according to customer needs.
· Collect customer comments and feedback to support customer satisfaction assessments.
· Participate in the project‑to‑service transfer process to ensure a smooth transition into the service lifecycle.
Requirements
• Engineering graduate (B.E.) preferred
• More than 5 years of relevant experience(Valve, Flow control and Instrumentation)
• Works independently to complete assigned tasks and activities.
• Resolves day‑to‑day technical sales issues.
• Work is mainly performed according to defined processes and standardized work methods.
• Close supervision is provided when necessary.
• Experience of SFDC, ERP, CAD, other quotation and CRM system preferred.
