The Applications Engineer, Smart Infrastructure is an individual contributor role that provides technical leadership and customer-facing support for Dynapower’s data center solutions. This position partners closely with sales, product management, and engineering to define requirements, develop technical solutions, and support system integration throughout the pre- and post-sales lifecycle. The Applications Engineer applies deep knowledge of power electronics and data center infrastructure to translate customer needs—such as efficiency, redundancy, grid interaction, and scalability—into practical, compliant solutions. While not a people manager, this role has significant technical influence and plays a key role in driving customer adoption and supporting growth in the data center market.

General Responsibilities
• Leads the process of providing technical sales support to assure successful customer integration d organization products
• Pre-sales activities include gaining understanding of customer's business and analysis of customer's system and product needs
• Leads the preparation and presentation of technical proposals of how organization's products can meet those needs and be integrated and implemented with customer's systems and equipment
• Handles the preparation and presentation of customer systems/equipment needs plan to organization teams to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, time, and environment constraints
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Travel international and domestic about 30%

Base Salary Range: $97,100.00 - 145,600.00
