You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide product guidance and scope for new requisitions. You will also be working and learning with the biggest names in the energy industry
 

As a Drill Bits Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Providing highly skilled level sales support and product application recommendations on drill bit product line(s)
  • Coordinating and implementing specific product strategies and best practices within the Caspian area
  • Assisting sales team to develop and maintain sales strategies to increase sales and profits through major accounts and complex product line
  • Generating drill bit proposals, application engineering studies, design recommendations, performance drilling parameter and vibration mitigation recommendations
  • Working closely with operators and BKR design engineers to modify existing products and/or new designs to better suit current applications
  • Investigating unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative actions
  • Coordinating deliveries of drill bits and accessories

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university;
  • Have minimum 2 yrs of experience in drill bits or related sphere
  • Have experience in preparing technical proposals, conducting meetings, answering sales/customer questions and writing/explaining technical aspects
  • Have knowledge of the Drill Bits industry, its competitors, products, markets, key players and customers
  • Be able to speak fluent Azerbaijani and English. Any other regional language is a benefit
